Character Information

Name: Artemis Mena

Nickname: The Huntress, Missy

Age: 25

Birthplace: Denver, CO

Sex: Female

Occupation: Hunter/Bartender

Appearance: Artemis lives up to her name as a goddess. She's sexy and sassy with curves in all the right places. She's 5'5" without those boots she loves so much. Her hair is long, chocolate brown with matching brown eyes. She has a medium complexion that tans easily.

Personality: Artemis is a true namesake of the goddess, strong and independent. She's outgoing and and reckless, quite the adrenaline junkie. She's always up for a good time. She seems to have friends everywhere, making them easily. She just blends into wherever she goes, neither too brash or too meek. Just very cool.

Sometimes she gets hard, too strong for her own good. She has to be, because if she's not, she could get hurt. Weakness in herself is unacceptable. She strives for perfection from herself in all aspects of her life. She's rather unpredictable, for better or worse. That's the huntress, never the same from one moon to the next.

Special abilities/talents: Black belt in several types of marital arts including ju-jitsu, krav maga, karate, kung fu, and capoeria.

Supernatural Affinity:
Species/Group: Human/Psychic
Power(s): Clairvoyance
Level: 1 but will advance

History: Artemis was born a huntress. She's descended from a long line of them, going back five generations. Each generation learned the tricks and trade from the former and improved upon them as time went on. It was a family that spawned inventors, warriors, scholars, all in the name of justice.

Christina Mena made sure that before her daughter was a hunter, she was a kid. Raising Artemis alone was difficult and she didn't want to deprive her of anything that was in her power to avoid. Artemis was the product of a one night stand after her mother had rescued a man. She has siblings out there, a family she doesn't even know.

Her mother did the best she could on her own. She made sure that Artemis had a good life, filled with love and laughter from her family and extended family. She grew up with cousins, uncles and aunts, grandparents that all doted on her. They too were in the business of hunting the things that went bump in the night, but made sure they never forgot what they were fighting for.

When Artemis was fifteen, her mother was hunting a Pazuzu. It would be her last hunt. While in Christina's body, the demon went after an activist group and killed them. Artemis' grandparents managed to get the demon out of her, but the police apprehended Christina. She was executed for 'her' crime. At least Artemis got to say good bye to her mother.

After that, she began to hunt with a ferocity seen usually only in angels of wrath. She wanted to avenge her mother. Soon her reputation began to build as The Huntress, as if she even cared. By the time she was twenty, demons began to fear the girl. Her instincts were dead on and she always just managed to avoid them, know where they were, how to get to them best.

Finally when she was twenty one, she was in a fight with a demon and his strength was too much for her. She was stabbed and barely managed to survive the blood loss. If it hadn't been for the fact that a friend was hunting with her, she would have died. She didn't slow down, but learned to use more caution.

Now her hunt has led her to Mysteria. Watch out. The Huntress is after you.

Flaws: Competitive - She's got to be the top of her game, the best of the best, and damn anyone who gets in her way. She can't resist a challenge, a chance to prove herself.

Merits: Luck - She calls it that anyway. It's her psychic ability that guides her, shows her where she needs to be, what she needs to do. Hunches, feelings, all leading her in the right direction.

Connected - She knows a guy, who knows a guy, who can get his hands on this, who will give it to her, etc. She's well connected to get whatever she needs. Weapons, information, whatever.

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Preferred PB (played-by): Eliza Dushku

"This is probably the stupidest thing you've ever done," Vivian Elizabeth Hays the fifth said to her captain. "Do you even realize what this is going to take? Food, supplies, every resource we've acquired..."

"Don't be so mellow-dramatic. We have supplies to spare and you know it. Maybe innocent blood on your hands isn't a problem for you, but it is for me. I won't condemn those people to death just because my crew is greedy. Am I understood?"

"It isn't about greed, it's about survival of the fittest," Vivy shot back, "And we're the tigers out here. They're the gazelle. Rowr."

"No, they're people. You and me, just in need of a little help," He said, shooting her a look that reminded her of the time she had once needed his help. She bit her retort back. "It's three months. That's all. Three months and they're back where they came from. We got the job done, we've got more than enough resources to last us all. There is no negotiating this. We get back to the Isa73x and part ways. That's that. And a hell of a lot of paperwork for me in the meantime," He couldn't help but sigh. He hated paperwork.

"But- what if they touch my shit?" Vivy pleaded angrily.

"Jesus Christ Vivy," Dawson snapped, "You. Will. Survive. It.

Character Information

Name: Reid Dawson
Nickname/Alias: Captain
Age: 27
Sex: Male
Ranking/occupation: Captain of the Serenata
Birth place: The planet Jiabari, Hydra colony
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single

Appearance:
Eye color: Brown
Hair color: Green
Hair style: Short, always
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 210lbs.
Skin tone: Medium tan
Clothing: Whatever he puts on? He says real men wear pink too. Deal.
Tattoos:
Scars: Several, all over
Piercing: None
Defining marks: None
Other features: He's very rugged, though he likes to be kept clean shaven for the most part. He's extremely muscular and in great physical condition.

Personality: Strong, intelligent, but has a playful side, Reid Dawson is everything you could hope for in a Captain. He's astute and thoughtful, yet quick on his feet. He's brave and wouldn't put his crew through anything he wouldn't do first. Though a practical joker and loves a good laugh, he's very wise for his age.

Reid is a very private person, not willing to share overmuch if he doesn't have to. He's not one to get very attached unless you're a member of his crew. He becomes too distant sometimes, needing to maintain that so the crew still respects his word. He's your Captain first, then your friend. That doesn't make him cold, simply how it has to be.

Special abilities/talents: Is a great fighter, having learned from a young age and kept his training all through adulthood.

History: Reid Dawson was born to a life of chaos. His mother was a medic and his father a soldier in the war torn Jiabari. From the time he was a child, all he ever knew was fighting, bloodshed.

His father, Dominic Dawson, was commander of the Hydra colony, one of the elite lines of soldiers. The fact that he was so skilled was the only reason he stayed alive so long. He taught his son everything he taught his soldiers to ensure Reid's safety. But it was in vain. They were dying, pure and simple. The planet that the war had been raged over, the soldiers, everyone and everything. But the death of Reid's mother and rumors that they were going to sweep the planet with nuclear bombs was the last straw.

The original plan was to get Reid off of the planet without Dominic. But in the end, Reid finally convinced his father to abandon this foolish pursuit and go with him to the Flores moon, find another place to live, start over. He agreed, but only after the Hydra colony was destroyed. They reached Flores, destitute. They had no money, no place to live, nothing. Just like most of the survivors of Jiabari.

Dominic got a job as a general worker for awhile for one of the corporations. He did what he could, saved money while Reid went to school. He wanted a better life for his son. He saved and bought a ship, a piece of junk really, but theirs. The Serenata.

He decided to go into private contracting, ferrying dignitaries who wanted to remain inconspicuous, moving cargo, etc. He was good at what he did, and it worked. Soon Dominic was teaching his son the ropes, and named him Second in Command of the ship. Though only a boy still, he was a natural.

After about six years going strong, Reid discovered his father was falling ill, hiding it from him. He died eventually, his last request that his son have a good life, the one they built together. Do his mother proud. Afterward, Reid took command of the ship. He has been ever since, and is still trying to live up to his father's dreams for him.

Earth:
Earth was unable to bear humanity's numbers by the end of the 23rd Century. It became classified as a protected planet, and by the end of the 25th century, humans finally had the technology to repair the damage done to the home world. It returned to the Eden it once was, and is now known as such through the universe, Earth, Eden class planet. The only people who live there now are scientists and caretakers, but people are still free to come to their home world and visit. Most of them feel the instinctual pull toward it and at least once in their life, it's fulfilled.

Territory:
Space itself is a free zone, but get within a certain perimeter of a planet? That's when the trouble begins. People like to make sure that piracy and general illegal goings on don't take place in their planetary zone. Unless sanctioned by them that is. When in a certain moon or planets territory, you are expected to abide by their laws, however absurd they are. So be careful where you travel.

Government:
As stated before, new planet? New government. Yes, a few have allied and bonded together to create a central government, but for the most part, each planet has it's own rules and restrictions. The largest alliance of planets is the one that governs Earth itself.

Law Enforcement:
There is law enforcement on every planet in some form or another. If it's as sophisticated as high tech police to a few men who watch over the settlement, it exists. There are armies and such employed in most planets as well. The major laws don't change. Murder, rape, robbery, those are all still completely illegal. But each law is enforced according to the planet or moon's stipulations and guidelines.

Piracy:
Yes, it exists. Yes, it's exactly like it sounds. No, it's not all "Matey" and "Arrgh!" They'll steal your ship and goods out from under you in a heartbeat. Scavengers are called "Leeches" generally, sucking the very blood from you if they could, and looked down upon in most societies.

Prison:
There are whole planets and moons devoted to prisons. They are given classifications from High to Low security, but all are very severe. You do not want to find yourself in a prison colony.

Physical Health:
Advancements in medicine have been made in leaps and bounds. There are cures to diseases and ailments that one wouldn't have thought would ever come to pass. Yet with the sweet comes the sour. With each new terrain discovered, there's a chance that there's a new bacteria or virus to come with it. This had happened on more than one occasion, but scientists are fairly good at not catching the diseases before it spreads, curing them when it does.

There are doctors or even 'healers' on less advanced planets. Health care is available on every ship as they are all required to employ a medic. The Serenata is no exception.

Communication:
Most of humanity has means of communication. There are various ways to contact people, videophone, email or 'mail', even holophones, holographic telephones. You can send packages via ship and notes along with it. But notes aren't on paper anymore, that's so passe. There are lots of ways to stay in touch.

Education:
In general, most systems have at least some sort of educational curriculum for their children. School ages usually start from five to and last until the child is about seventeen, especially on more civilized planets. Then of course their are specialty schools and universities that are required for certain lines of work if you have the money to pay for them. It's not too different from today, unless you're living on a world that is very out of contact with society.

The Major Companies:
They employ people for everything, from your doctor to your janitor. If you're working, chances are it's for one of the feared and adored corporations. The conditions could always be better, but it's an age old gripe from workers. Some are actually quite wonderful. Others are completely abysmal. It really just depends on what hand you were dealt in life.

FAQ

What do you do for entertainment?
What don't you do? It's the universe! You have everything out there somewhere. Games, gambling, strip clubs, museums, art, sports, whatever!

What's this about aliens? Can I be one?
Unfortunately no, we're not having humanoid aliens in this game. There are plenty of very human ways to have an enhanced creature, but not an alien one.

What about robots? AI/Androids?
We are allowing two in this game. Once two are in, no more. But yes, they exist. No, they don't want to go Terminator on you either. They're just looking to be more human if anything.

What about royalty? You said there were kings and princesses?
Yeah, but claiming a piece of land, saying you're a king? That'll most likely get you an eyeroll, not a bow. Of course you're royal, but that doesn't always mean a whole lot.

I want to be a merchant. Can I?
Of course! Merchants are extraordinarily common. The worlds are even on sale, everything and anything goes.

What if I want my character to be from a planet that isn't on the list?
No problem! The universe is big, there's plenty of room.

What about religion?
Different place? Probably different religion. There are tons of them scattered around, there is no set religion, or even power religion.

What are the ships like?
Styles and classes of ships vary from cargo, cruise to personal. Sizes vary due to need, but most have the same basic layout. There's a kitchen, dining room, washroom, medical bay, cargo decks, living area, bridge, engine room, gym, personal quarters, ect.

"Where is Moran? He should have been back by now?"

There was silence in the chamber. "Speak!" He demanded.

"There is- rumors. He has failed, the Charmed ones got to the witch before he could steal her power. She's dead now, but he's searching for another," The Morlock told him.

Adam laughed. He stood in his chamber and laughed the laugh of a man so frustrated beyond sense that there was nothing else to do. The sound sent chills down the spines of the demons present.

"The Charmed Ones. Of course! I've been waiting for this. First, we get the firestarter. I don't trust Moran anymore. Kill him on sight unless he has the amulet. Then take it and kill him anyway," He said casually.

"We have work to do. I want them individually. We tell them now."

Aurelius stood at his podium and waited. Every leader of the underworld and others watching would soon hear his words. Hear their fates.

"My brothers, I am...disappointed," Aurelius' voice rang out deeply through the chamber where the various demons, warlocks and evil creatures of every flavor were gathered. He had even managed to get the vampires to align with them. Inspiration was a beautiful thing indeed.

"I am new to this world, yes. But of a few things, I am certain. First. Whatever we're doing, it's not enough. We need to strike, hard and fast and let the world tremble at our feet. You have the power, now use it!"

He stalked like a caged lion from his makeshift podium so he could meet the faces of his demonic hoard.

"You are the creatures that strike fear into the hearts of every man, woman and child upon this earth. There is nothing that does not feel some fear at your very presence. Remind them why they should feel that fear. Show the world your true colors. Seek the power that runs in your veins, and become gods among the earth."

"Lastly, may we never forget. I have more power than the last three sources combined!" His voice rang out menacingly through the dark catacombs of the underworld, "Should you dare cross me, you will pay the price. Have I failed you? Have I?! Then why must you fail me so? Go and show the world what truly lies in the dark. Remove the ones that stand in your way. Kill the Charmed ones. Whoever does, wins the favor of the source."

As the various demons, warlocks, and all those under his reign began to shimmer, smoke and disappear into flames, leaving him, Aurelius smiled. They would not last long and his empire would bloom in their blood.

Vivienne was outside, swaying in the rain. Why? Because she could. She spun around, arms out, laughing. It rinsed the rest of the world clean with a new day. She hadn't done that since she was a little girl. She suddenly was aware of someone watching her...

She looked out and saw Wyatt looking at her from her studio window and laughed again. "Come outside, the weather's great!" She grinned, rushing in to take him by the hand and drag him out. He resisted and she sighed in playful exasperation.

"When are you gonna learn Halliwell? Life is for the living and I intend to be just that. Alive. Now you can come along for the ride or you can stay inside watching. Either way, it's cool, but remember it was your choice," She smiled suggestively, then kissed his cheek playfully and ran outside.

"Wyatt! Wyatt, this is a moment you're not going to get again so-" She stopped when her ran outside with her, laughing too at their silliness, "-So take it."

She took his hand and spun around under his arm. "You know Wyatt, kisses are an intense thing."

"Intense how?" He asked curiously. He had a feeling he knew what she was about to do, but oddly enough, didn't stop her.

She spun and held onto his chest. She stared into his eyes with her bright greenish ones, and said, "It's the moment. A thousand kisses before and it all starts with one. That moment you were so moved words wouldn't dare speak for you anymore. Just the touch..." She ended in a whisper, then raised her lips up to his, brushing them lightly.

She knew she was being reckless and positively Vivienne, but she couldn't help herself. She was moved.

Name: Delilah Monroe

PB:
Vanessa Anne Hudgens

Age:
21

Appearance:
Doesn't she look sweet and innocent? With her voluptuous curves and bright smile, most people think that's all there is to Delilah. They learn to think again, but she prefers to be underestimated her based on how she appears.

Her dark brown hair, full lips, and dark, mischievous eyes are set well against her mocha skin, enhancing the 'exotic' look. Her coloring is a gift from her late mother, however she's taller than Julia Monroe was. Though she stands at five foot four inches, it's not enough for Delilah and she tries to increase her height advantage in anyway possible, usually through heels.

As far as attire goes, Delilah opts for simple elegance rather than loud prints and clothes designed to get attention. She can do that on her own.

She has a tattoo of a moon with swirling stars around it on her ankle, a symbol for constant lights in the darkness. She also never takes off her mother's simple silver ring, save to clean it and shower.

Personality:
The life Delilah has led caused her to grow streetwise at a very early age. She can spot a mark or a lie from a mile away. She's learned how to handle these situations well, with confidence and shrewd intellect though remains distrustful of people and often secretive, even about the inconsequential things.

She's defensive about herself, trying to divert any attention or personal questions with humor and sarcasm. She doesn't let people see her vulnerable side, she considers it an advantage that she refuses to let anyone have over her. If someone does manage to get past her barriers, she becomes fiercely loyal and caring, if only to spare herself the pain of losing someone.

Ultimately, Delilah looks out for Delilah. She does things for others, but is always searching for her own reward in the risk, risks she's unafraid to take. Yes, she's reckless and wild often to her own detriment, but she's intelligent enough to know when she's pushing her limits. For instance, she's outspoken but knows when to keep things to herself or calm a fight rather than remain apathetic to it if it doesn't concern her. Why? She's looking out for herself and those she considers hers. The people in her life that hold the position of 'hers' are rare, but once they become a part of her life, it's cemented for Delilah and she'll do what she has to to protect them.

History:

grew up with just her mom, abandoned by her dad, has no siblings
-excelled in school, but was rebellious
-mother died due to cancer when she was young
-learned the con from her maternal uncle
